Dr. Wisner enjoys working with expectant mothers and kids.
Dr. Wisner is an associate professor and chiropractic clinician at Cleveland University-Kansas City (CUKC), where she has made significant contributions since joining the faculty in 2012. She currently teaches the Pediatrics course, serves as a clinician in the CUKC Chiropractic Health Center, and assists with various clinic courses on campus.
Wisner obtained her Bachelor of Science in Health Science degree from Truman State University in 2005, and continued her education by earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College-Kansas City in 2008. Motivated by her dedication for specialized pediatric and prenatal chiropractic care, Wisner has earned additional certifications with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association for treatment of children and pregnant women (CACCP), and Webster Technique.
She also holds the distinction of being a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). With her commitment to academics and advancing her clinical skills, Wisner also has training in DNS pediatrics, BIRTHFIT, and is pursuing a board-certified diplomate in chiropractic pediatrics.
Wisner’s professional background of dedicated patient care and teaching experience spans more than 16 years. Her approach to patient care continues to positively impact her patients and students.
Beyond her academic responsibilities at the University, Wisner is still engaged in private practice, serving patients at her clinic in Overland Park. She finds joy spending time with her husband, Jared, and their two children, Emrie and Conner. Often she can be found exploring the outdoors engaged in paddle boarding and camping, or going for walks around the area.
