Dr. Steffen received her B.S and M.S. degrees in health and human performance from Fort Hays State University in 2012 and 2014, respectively. In 2018, she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Cleveland University-Kansas City. She is currently earning her Diplomate of American Board of Chiropractic Internists certification, which emphasizes more investigative measures for organic causes of disease and dysfunction. Steffen has additional training in dry needling, acupuncture, pregnancy and pediatrics, and soft tissue techniques like Graston. Before starting as a part time employee at CUKC, she worked at a multidisciplinary practice in Kansas with an M.D. and PT Departments. She also stays busy running her private practice in Bonner Springs, Kan., gardening, and spending time with her husband, Drew, and their two children, Weston and Banks.
